THE WOOLLEY FOUNDATION
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD FOR 2024
The Woolley Foundation in Rockford, Michigan is offering a Student Scholarship to be awarded in June of 2024, to an eligible graduate of Rockford Public High School, who is pursuing a college degree in teaching Special Education. We are a 501©3 non-profit organization, promoting broad-based education endeavors, particularly to benefit special needs persons. Documentation of eligibility must be submitted with the application packet.
GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The application packet has four parts:
- The application form
- Documentation of eligibility requirements
- A 200 – 300 Word Essay
- One letter of recommendation
Eligibility requirements:
- Be a resident of Michigan
- Be at least 18 years of age by May 1, 2024
- Be a graduate (past or present) of Rockford Public High School by June 15, 2024
- Have a high school (or college) grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Be registered/enrolled in a four year accredited college for fall 2024
- Be pursuing a degree with a declared major in teaching Special Education
- Submit the application packet between the dates of January 15, 2024 – May 1, 2024
